Changes for visiting large herbivore pastures at Nature Park Pape

24. March, 2020

During the last few weeks Nature Park Pape has seen an increase in visitors, due to the global pandemic Covid-19 and national lockdowns. While we are very happy to see the park visitation increase, we would like to ask that anyone planning a visit to the park notify the park ranger Ints Mednis (T: + 371 29224331) 2 days in advance of their visit. Because the park’s tourist season usually starts later on in the year, the park is not ready to accommodate tourists without prior notice. Hence, we kindly ask you to consider this and let us know when you’re planning to come and see us!

Additionally, we would like to apologize for the damaged infrastructure in the park, which was damaged during the last storm. It hit the park particularly hard, and because of this, the toilets and the information boards are still being fixed.

In the meantime, if you would like to support us and help us financially so we can recover from the storm damage quicker and accommodate you better you can donate to Pasaules Dabas Fonds. We will be very grateful for any donation no matter how big or small.

Stay safe and healthy!
